Taiwanese research firm TrendForce said that Apple plans to launch the third-generation iPhone SE in the first quarter of 2022. Most likely the iPhone SE 3 will be announced at the end of March next year.
According to TrendForce's "latest investigations", Apple has recorded a 22.6% increase in iPhone sales, of which the iPhone 13 series plays a large part. The source believes that the iPhone SE 3 will help the Cupertino tech guy enter the mid-range 5G phone segment.
After iPhone SE 3, Apple is expected to continue to launch four main iPhone models in the fall of 2022. Apple's iPhone production output for 2022 is forecasted to reach 25 to 30 million units.
