Huawei P50 Pro and P50 Pocket officially launched globally: Beautiful design, top configuration, but amazing price

 

According to Gsmarena, Huawei has officially launched globally the flagship smartphone duo P50 Pro and P50 Pocket. In the first phase, these two flagships will expand their way to Asia-Pacific, Middle East & Africa, Europe and South America.

Huawei P50 Pro

Huawei P50 Pro international version uses Snapdragon 888 4G chip combined with 4,360 mAh battery, runs Huawei's proprietary EMUI 12 instead of HarmonyOS like the version in China, supports 66 W wired fast charging and 50 fast wireless charging W.

Huawei P50 Pro has a 6.6-inch curved OLED screen (2,700 x 1,228 pixels), supports 120 Hz refresh rate, 300 Hz touch sampling rate and is IP68 dust and water resistant.

On the back, Huawei P50 Pro is equipped with a quad-camera system: 50 MP main (f/1.8 aperture, with OIS) + 40 MP B/W lens (f/1.6) + 64 MP telephoto (f/3.5), with OIS and 3.5x optical zoom) + 13 MP ultra-wide angle (f/2.2).

In Europe, Huawei P50 Pro only has 8 GB RAM version and 256 GB internal memory for 1,199 Euro (about 30.6 million VND), with two color options: Cocoa Gold and Cocoa Black.

Huawei P50 Pocket

The Huawei P50 Pocket has a clamshell folding screen design with a multi-dimensional hinge that according to Huawei will not create a gap when the phone is folded. The 1-inch circular external display lets you interact with notifications, customizations, and the camera. The back of the phone has three cameras: 40 MP main + 13 MP ultra wide angle + 32 MP Ultra Spectrum to enhance color rendering.

The OLED screen inside of Huaiwei P50 Pocket has a size of 6.9 inches (2,790 x 1,188 pixels) with a punch-hole design containing a 10.7 MP selfie camera, supporting 120 Hz refresh rate, 21: 9 aspect ratio and speed 300 Hz touch sampling.

Huawei P50 Pocket uses Snapdragon 888 4G chip, 4,000 mAh battery, supports Huawei SuperCharge 40 W fast charging and runs EMUI 12.

In Europe, Huawei P50 Pocket is available in two versions. The standard version with 8 GB RAM + 256 GB internal memory is sold for 1,299 Euro (nearly 33.2 million VND), with two color options: Black and white.

The other version is the Premium Edition, crafted by famous high-end fashion designer Iris van Herpen, with 12 GB RAM + 512 GB internal memory, sold for 1,599 euros (about 40.8 million VND), with only Premium Gold color.
