Red Magic is a sub-brand of ZTE that often launches phones with top specs. According to the Notebookcheck page, there have been rumors about the company being able to upgrade the charging speed of the battery, up to 165 W. This rumor is likely to be confirmed when a device is said to be the Red Magic 7 Pro. The company's standard version has appeared on the 3C management page.
The new listing confirms that the device is Nubia-branded and has model number NX709J, which was also previously associated with the Red Magic 7 Pro name. It also looks like the handset will come with the same NB-A20825C charger that was registered with the Nubia Red Magic 7 with an output of up to 20 V/8.25 A.
In other words, it seems that Red Magic can equip all of its flagships with new fast charging technology in 2022. While the Red Magic 6 Pro only has 120W charging speed, the Red Magic 7 and 7 Pro only can outpace their predecessors in terms of 0 to 100% wired charging times.
The source also said that the company also revealed about 3 new features, potentially leading the smartphone manufacturing industry. Although it is not yet known exactly when these 3 features will be revealed by the company.
