Good news for Galaxy S21 Series users

 Samsung has started rolling out the November Android security update to owners of the Galaxy S21 series in the US. More than 50 vulnerabilities are fixed by the update, and 4 of them are considered critical. The update is available for unlocked versions of the Galaxy S21 series in the US running on all major state carriers.

Galaxy S21 Ultra.

The update is numbered G99xU1UES4AUJ7 and may take a few days to be available to all compatible devices. Users can also check if the update has arrived on their Galaxy S21 by going to Settings > Software update > Download and Install. If an update is available, follow the instructions to install it on your phone.

Additionally, Samsung has popularized the fourth beta version of One UI 4 for the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra. The update has a capacity of 807.27MB with version numbers G998BXXU3ZUK1 / G998BOXM3ZUK1 / G99xBXXU3ZUK1 respectively.

The "fix list" posted by XDA shows that it will fix the following errors:

● Stretch effect when scrolling is too much.

● Pop-ups appear after the first application start.

● After setting the screen resolution to WQHD, the device performance decreases slightly.

● Decrease the frame rate when the alarm goes off.

● WIFI and hotspot are not enabled under certain circumstances.

● Dim the screen when unlocking the device.

● Create two call logs when making a call.

● Fingerprint recognition problem after restarting the phone.

● WIFLAP search does not work under certain circumstances.

● Restart the phone during a call.

So when will Samsung release the final version of One UI 4? These could be released as soon as this month and will include a dark mode and improved multitasking, new widgets for the home screen, the Quick Settings panel – newly revised Quick Settings, and more.
