Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said that the iPhone 2022 will no longer have a notch screen design, instead of a punch-hole camera like on Android phones.
According to Mr. Kuo, the new generation iPhone will have a FaceID sensor hidden under the screen, thereby eliminating the notch. In addition, Apple will also bring the TouchID fingerprint sensor back on the iPhone 2023.
Another notable upgrade of the iPhone 14 is the main rear camera with 48-megapixel resolution, higher than the current 12-megapixel level. Apple is expected to introduce iPhone 14 in September 2022, while the new generation iPhone SE with 5G connectivity will be released early next year.
Ming-Chi Kuo and Morgan Stanley analyst Kati Huberty predict iPhone 13 pre-orders are now higher than those of iPhone 12, especially the high-end Pro version.
Earlier, "rumor expert" Jon Prosser revealed that the design of the iPhone 14 will be completely different from the previous generation. The device has the style of iPhone 4/4s with titanium frame and 2 glass sides. The volume button is rounded instead of flat as it is today.
Although the iPhone 13 has not been sold yet, Prosser claims to have seen actual images of the iPhone 14 Pro Max. The product still has 3 rear cameras with lidar sensor. The highlight is that the camera is not convex but is flattened compared to the back, which means that the device will be thicker. There is currently no information on product configuration.
